It is a very fun game which will reward you deeply if you complete it. OVERALL: I think this game is appropriate for anyone above 10 who does not have anger issues. What makes it even harder is that checkpoints are very scarce. You will need a tactic to clear each part. Both this game and its prequel, Demon's Souls, are known very well for challenging the player with hordes of enemies that can kill your player in seconds. DIFFICULTY: The major issue in Dark Souls. PRIVACY: You can play online but there is no talk, the only issue is that everyone can see your online name which is only an problem if your child's online name is their real name. LANGUAGE: Not an issue as the characters don't speak.
There is one boss who's breasts are only covered by her hair, but she has the body of a spider so it is very fictional and nothing worse then what you would see at the mall these days. The violence and gore in this game stands below Halo, Call of Duty and a lot of other top games young kids play. In Dark Souls there is no gore in killing enemys. The blood does not look lifelike at all, and for the over-protective parents there is even an option to turn it off. Most of the enemys you will fight in this game are skeletons anyway. Small splashes of blood appear from an enemy as you hit them but it is very hard to notice. Now, on to the content: VIOLENCE: not an issue in this game. It is suitable for any child above 10 who wants a challenge and is not going to take their anger out on other people or things. I disagree with most parents who have written a review on this game. So yes, all the hype around this game is real. The vague lore and cryptic hints keeps the game on your mind, adding to the extreme satisfaction of beating a boss you were stuck on for a week. Overall: This is a fantastic game that can teach you a lot of lessons, from persevering through hard times to cooperating with friends. Other nudity includes a harpie (a woman's body attached to an eagle's, with wings as arms) slightly visible naked butt in an optional location. In the cutscene you get a close up shot of her moving her body quite sexually in your direction, but you can skip the cutscene. Sex: About midway into the game you will encounter a boss fight with a woman's topless upper body attached to a gigantic spider, with only her hair covering up her nipples. Furthermore, you can turn off all blood in the settings, so I'll just move to. The most blood I could find was with a Hydra miniboss (which is completely optional and you don't even have to fight it), where you have to cut off each Hydra's head, but even that wasn't very graphic. You can slash enemies with a sword, which results in some blood coming out of them. But you'll need to get over it to enjoy this game.

So what I think in my own words is that they need to make a dark souls 4 or just remake other dark souls game but still the same stuff in it rated T and just put blood in the cutscene but mild blood as long as there isn't any nudity then they should be fine now ya'll are probably thinking not every game that's rated M for mature have nudity in it well yeah I know but still they should at least add where you can turn blood on from hard blood to mild blood to no blood so that's what i'm thinking but don't get me wrong though in my opinion ds2 sotFS in long Dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin was actually my second best dark souls series because it has a more serous play through again this is my opinion not everybody's and if you are still reading thank you but as I was saying like they should just make some dark souls game like let's say for example blood born had way to much blood in it really so they need to make or remake that one and make it teen where blood is off at first but you can turn blood on so again this is my opinion so this is what I think they should do about dark some dark souls game because to me dark souls is my second most favorite game in the world the first is MORTAL KOMBAT yeah ok i'm done.įirst off: Yes, this game is as hard as you hear it to be, for me it was even harder.
